Life of a KID

Lives of kids are simple. They are like butterflies, colourful and beautiful. Being a child is the closest you can get in your entire life to total Freedom. But sometimes their emotions too can take complex form. But when they do, then adults will be helpless as their emotions outstrip all logic and sense in this world. Its such a story. There were two kids, a little girl named Chandra and a boy named Adi. Both are of same age and in the same school. They were friends. Their love for each other is cute and fresh, like morning dew, unlike the elder people with prejudices and conditions. That day was Chandra's birthday, she dressed like an angel. Everybody loved her. Her smile lightens the night, just like the moon. Watching her smile is a divine experience. He too was there, to wish her a “haaapy bithday” . Adi give her a wide smile. Then they both ran to the gift table to open the packs she was getting. She got lots of gifts. One by one they started to open the gifts. B...

Friends

a micro memoir "I don't think I can come, guys. You carry on" I didn't think I could do it. Being a lazy man by birth I prefer the status quo, unless and until compelled strongly otherwise. My friends are all going to be there in Goa, but not me. I lost sleep over it, "should I go or not". I realize how lazy and pathetic I am, Can't even deal with such a silly thing. At last I've been made to decide against my crazy-lazy mind, by my friends. I packed for Goa and boarded on train from New Delhi to Goa. I hate to sit for a long time and that is the reason why I hate train journey. My journey wasn't much fun, that my friends is the side effect of being an introvert. I was still in the belief that this is a mistake, to take this trip.  It took a full day and a night to reach there. The air of Goa started to take its toll on me. The climate was hot & humid and yet I felt like I was home. My friends called me and gave the direction a...

A Beautiful Day

It was just like any other day. Life was withering out shuttling between office and home. Every day I start with thinking to do something diferent, crazy, but status quo prevails.I can feel the emptiness of the routine chores. Life has become so mechanised that I couldn't even enjoy the simple delights, life can offer. Tension & stress has become natural state of mind, calmness and peace have become visitors. It was a fine morning, I was off to office just like any other day. I took a good look around. People were still jogging inside the park. Trees and shrubs were fresh as dew. Squirells running around the footpath. Birds were making loud noises, as if we humans were not the only one, they too were busy on a morning. Nature was beautiful and fantastic as ever. No one could match her beauty. I have to walk to reach metro station. Somebody called my name fom across the road, It was Dev. I waved at him and signalled at my watch that I m already late for ...

Unity of Women

Opening                                            "Munnaar" a small, placid, foggy place in Kerala state in INDIAN subcontinent, famous as tourist destination for its scenic beauty. Through out the year the place is hit with loads of tourists, foreign and native. One of the famous tourist spots in South India, Munnar had been a tiara on Kerala's Tourism Development Board's achievement.                                               If you think this is going to be another travel blog or something of that sort, you guys are thoroughly mistaken. B'coz i would like to call your attention to this place for a spe...

EXODUS - revealing our true selves

We are in the brink of losing our humaneness or did we already lose it? The world is in jeopardy and we see it right before our naked eyes, still we need to set up a committee before taking actions. That means we don't even have same opinion on humanitarian part. Now how pathetic is that? We often forget the reason why people chose to refuge in a particular country, as they consider that country as accepting and tolerant towards others. The reasons for exodus are many, civil war, terrorist groups, ethnic and religious atrocities etc. But there is only one common underlying reason for all of this, that we lost our humanness. Coutesy:  www.un.org This is sad and heart wrenching. People are dying like fireflies. We cant even allow them a bit of space. We have this whole earth yet we are refugees. I fear, this whole event had made me a misanthrope. Mothers holding their children close to their heart and pleading for entry to a strange land which they think is something better...

BOOKS

Like everyone else, my morning also starts with the same set of chores. Still, the rising sun has this refreshing effect on my mind, like every new day I m being reborn with new set of hopes. The joy it gives me, devouring a cup of tea with the rays from morning sun along with the chirping birds is heavenly. Sometimes it feels like never to move from the balcony and go on forever eternally, looking at the rising sun and the shades of sky. When I was in school my parents used to say, If u study properly now, u can have a good future . When I joined college the same advise applied to college, then after that when I got a job the same applied but with a little editing that, work good so that u can have a good retired life . I wonder, worrying too much for the future, are we forgetting to live the moment? I know they have their own justifications for that, but still what if I am not like that. What if I would like to sit lazy for days doing nothing, what if i want to live a simple life l...
